Sporting Facilities
At Pembridge Hall we use a variety of sporting facilities throughout the year. Gymnastics and dance are catered for in on-site facilities in our sports hall. For swimming lessons the school utilises The Porchester Baths throughout the year. The younger children use a shallow, heated p ool during their lesson times, while the more confident swimmers in the Upper School have a 33m standard pool where they practise all their drills and skills.During the Autumn and Spring terms, Pembridge Hall girls practice and train for inter-school netball matches and have their class lessons at the newly refurbished Avondale Park. It has 3 full size netball courts and goal posts for our use. In the summer months we have the pleasure and opportunity to play rounders and to practise for our Sports Day in the grounds of Kensington Palace in Hyde Park. |
Science Laboratory

Our newly refurbished laboratory is equipped with extensive apparatus and offers everything a young scientist could want. The girls will be encouraged to increase their understanding of scientific procedures as well as organising and conducting their own experiments. Microscopes enable us to look closely at a variety of samples and our interactive whiteboard helps to bring larger concepts to life. |

Libraries
Lower and Upper school both have well stocked libraries. The girls have a designated Library time when they can choose books to take home, listen to stories or focus on research work. |
ICT suites
| Pembridge Hall has two exceptionaly well equipped ICT suites that allow the children to experience a wide variety of up to date technology. Lessons are enhanced by our printing facilities, scanners, directiona We utilise both online and offline resources. Our subscriptions to Education City, Learn Premium, Mathletics and Espresso provide the school with recent news bites, subject and topic relevant video images, photographs, recorded interviews, work sheets, and activities for all curriculum areas. There are interactive whiteboards in every classroom that allow us to utilise these facilities effectively. |
Outside Space
All children have an opportunity to play outside every day. Breaks are taken in one of the two playgrounds or in the leafy environment of the Pembridge Square Gardens. |
The Art Studio
| We are indeed, extremely lucky to have such a marvellous Art Studio, that would be the envy of any artist! It is very spacious, with excellent storage and extensive counter tops, allowing clay and three Dimensional models to dry without getting swashed or ruined. ![]() It has a complete glass apex roof allowing vast amounts of natural light to flood in, permitting the girls to see the true colours of objects and shades of paints mixed. The tables are not fixed enabling the girls utilize the large floor area. It is a well equipped with just about every kind of paper and card, a variety of paints, brushes, pastels and pencils, together with desktop easels and portable drawing boards. There is the necessary equipment for woodwork, needlework and pottery. Thus, creating a super environment for the girls to relax and enjoy Art, allowing for their talents and creative ideas to flow. |
