Art Club

Junior Art

We have heaps of fun and get quite creative in Art Club. It is an opportunity for the girls to express themselves and interact between year groups in an informal environment. We tend to discuss as a group what the girls would like to create for the following week, as a way of making it interesting and fun for them; another big hit with the girls is the fact that they can take their work home at the end of the hour (providing it is dry!). This term we have made collages, posters, our dream homes and gardens and much, much more.

Senior Art

In Senior Art we also have heaps of fun where we experience candle making, batiks, textiles, woodwork and pottery. The girls work individually or we may work on a group project. They are encouraged not only to enjoy the club, but to improve and expand on their creative ideas and techniques. We create hosts of wonderful items, suck as brooches, batik cushions and glue art. Easter chicks' pencils, marbling, operational clocks and anything else the girls would particularly like to do or we could fit in!

In Senior Art, the girls continue to have heaps of fun. We experiment with new and different Art activities such as batiks, textiles, woodwork, printing and pottery. The girls work individually, or we may work on a group project.
