In Computer Club Year 1 and Year 2 girls learn to use digital media including Tuff-Cams and Digital Blue video recorders to make movies, adding sound effects of their choice. They also learn to use drawing tools in a variety of programs and experiment with novelty paper to produce their own decorated artifacts. The Year 3 girls are encouraged to develop their touch-typing ability and to test their wits with some problem-solving games. They are introduced to the challenges of desktop publishing, as a means of producing greeting cards and calendars, to the amusement of their families! They also have fun with manipulating photographs, adding their own choice of special effects and using this skill to produce some amazing DVD covers. |
