Life in the Lower School
![]() |
Children from Kindergarten to Year 3 (ages 4 - 8) create a happy buzz that echoes throughout the corridors of number 18. Small classes, with a teacher and a teaching assistant, ensure that the girls become confident communicators with respect for others and have a love of learning that goes beyond what is taught. High standards are achieved while maintaining independent thought and creativity. Specialist teachers for Music, Swimming, P.E, French and Drama allow for a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum to be delivered. |
| We utilise the surrounding museums and places of interest to provide opportunities for the children to learn through hands on experiences. As well as presenting individual class assemblies, which are enjoyed by the whole school and parents, the children also delight in producing Christmas and Nativity performances and parading through the streets showing off their Easter bonnets. Parents are welcomed into the school every Friday morning, in order to see and share in their child's progress throughout the year. |
