Modern and Tap Dancing

TAP & JAZZ

The tap and jazz classes at Pembridge Hall follow the syllabus of the I.S.T.D. (Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing) and are taught by Mr Jerry Lee Dawson, who adds a pinch of his own style of street jazz. The children learn technique and rhythm which are then applied to routines. They gain immense confidence from the classes and a taste of the world of commercial dance.

At the end of the Summer Term, the children join together with the ballet classes for a performance which is always a huge success and great fun.
