Music
| Music plays an integral part in life at Pembridge Hall. Girls throughout the school receive two music lessons a week and the Music Curriculum aims to develop a musical knowledge that is both practical and theoretical. Girls are encouraged to develop and extend their musical skills which enable them to participate in a wide range of musical activities; music at Pembridge Hall is all-encompassing, and our philosophy is to include every child who wishes to take part. |
| We have an experienced team of peripatetic instrumental teachers offering tuition on a wide range of instruments including piano, violin, cello, saxophone, clarinet, flute, oboe, trumpet, cornet, guitar, voice and recorder. We have a flourishing Orchestra and also a Junior String Group, Recorder Ensemble and three choirs which regularly perform in concerts and musical events throughout the school year. Pupils are also entered for grade examinations set by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and the Trinity Guildhall Examination Board. Music at Pembridge Hall is vibrant, stimulating and most importantly, fun. |
