Religious Education
![]() |
Religious Education makes a distinctive contribution to the school curriculum by developing pupils' knowledge and understanding of religion and religious beliefs and practices. RE provides opportunities for the children to explore issues within and between Christianity and other major religions in Britain and to help them respect different religions and traditions. The children develop their sense of identity and belonging. |
Trips to various places of worship are incorporated in the RE curriculum and involvement of parents in providing hands-on exposure to various religious customs is encouraged.
School Assemblies are held twice a week and the girls play an active part in their preparation and delivery. Parents are warmly invited to join us at the Friday Assembly, which takes place at St. Matthew's Church in nearby St. Petersburg Place.
