Yoga

In Yoga Club the girls learn the physical postures as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. These are taught in an enjoyable and engaging way, using storytelling, art and music. As well as improving overall fitness and posture, yoga can help children develop focus and concentration while promoting a sense of calm and well-being. Classes are run by Calm For Kids teachers, Christiane Kerr and Laura Shave. Calm For Kids has been running children's yoga classes for over seven years and organises training courses on teaching yoga to children. They have produced a range of relaxation CDs for children and teenagers. |
