Instilling Positive Values through Charitable Giving
When children are educated about charity, they learn to be considerate of others, to appreciate what they have, and to demonstrate compassion. By placing considerable emphasis on charitable giving, our school instils kindness and empathy in our girls, and they are also encouraged to share ideas for fundraising and select the causes that we champion.
Our girls are eager to support charities that are based in the surrounding areas. As a result, we have strong connections with the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation and the Rugby Portobello Trust. Our close ties with St Matthew’s Church, our local parish, allow us to support meaningful projects in conjunction with Revd Will Coleridge. We also celebrate the harvest with an annual special assembly, collecting food and toiletries from our families to be donated to needy families in the community.
In addition, our school seeks to advocate global initiatives to ensure that our efforts at charitable giving remain relevant and impactful at all times.
